Institute of International Relations, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro
The Institute of International Relations is an excellence center in the area of International Relations in Brazil. During its 30 years of existence the Institute has pioneered the research field on Brazil’s international relations, Latin America’s political and economic changes as well as changes in the world order. Its Graduate program graduates masters and doctors working in various universities in Brazil and abroad, and its Undergraduate program was ranked one of the five best in the country and the best in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The Institute’s faculty body is highly specialized in the different fields of International Relations and has extensive international experience and training. The Institute is now regarded internationally as a reference in teaching and research, and maintains a diverse network of partnerships with key institutes and universities abroad. The Institute of International Relation publishes the journal Contexto Internacional, which is one of the top publications in the field of International Relations in Brazil. The Institute is one of the nine departments that make up the Center of Social Sciences (CCS) at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). PUC-Rio is one of the best universities in the country and has 24 departments and 11 additional units dedicated to research, teaching and extension.Visit Site
